Your name and where you’re (originally) from?

My name is Jolene Hertzler, I’m originally from Milton, PA and have lived throughout the States. I’m lucky enough to now call Leucadia home.

What’s your story?

My story is a long one. I’m just happy to be here!

What do you like about BLOC or Leucadia in general?

Leucadia still has that strong sense of community. The kind where you know your neighbors, you are friends and everyone is very supportive of one another, always helping and encouraging happiness and growth. I also like that the neighborhood is full of small, locally owned businesses. I love to see people doing what they love and being original, it’s so refreshing.

What is something people wouldn’t know about you?

I’ve always been creative. I’ve got stacks of books filled with poetry and drawings. I also really enjoy photography. Any time I can create is when I am happiest.

Favorite local place to eat?

My kitchen. I love to cook, plus my boyfriend and I make some killer fish tacos!

Why do you enjoy being a part of a cowork environment (at BLOC)?

I like that from day one, I’ve felt welcome. Everyone is open-minded, creative and driven. It’s a very motivating and fun environment to be a part of.
